Looking for Info on Coaching?
by Willie Black

Are you looking for more information about rowing and coaching?

The history of coaching rowing shows a strong link between successful coaches coming from successful programs. No mystery there; they took the winning practices of their coaches and continued them at another program. Now coaches have more resources available to them through the Web, books, DVDs and clinics.

Share with us a book you have read that helped you become a better coach or a Web site that has provided you with some valuable information. Please send a brief description of the material and information on how to find it to willieb@usrowing.org. After we have a collection of resources, we will put a link to them on the Coaching Education page http://usrowing.org/coaches/index.aspx.

Listed below is a sampling of the where you can find information about rowing and coaching. Some of the information comes from USRowing and others have been submitted and listed.

USRowing’s latest DVD, Core Strength, is available along with all of the other coaching DVDs. You can find a description of our DVDs in the Coaches section of our Web site at:
